Amarin Plaza

This muddle of high end fashion stores, tailors, end of line boutiques and craft shops is definitely worth a browse. Surrounded by international hotels, Amarin Plaza receives a steady stream of travellers passing through its doors; drawn especially because of the running sales that occupy the main forecourt on the ground floor. Sales range from sporting goods to electronics, but you can be assured of bargains of up 70% off recommended retail price. Amarin Plaza also has a great value food court on the fourth floor, but try to avoid the lunchtime rush between 12:00 and 13:00 when it is crammed with local office staff.
The stylish Amarin Plaza is linked to Erawan Bangkok via a skybridge. The five-storey shopping plaza has an almost festive aura to it, drawing in a mixed crowd - from affluent Thais to expats and business travellers - with highly desirable brand names such as Guy Laroche, Valentino and Crocodile, to name but a few. Due to the diverse offerings splayed out, the theme of Amarin is woven around colour, or as they have it, 'Kolors of Style'.
